Dr Margaret Bryce
Dr Margaret Bryce has spent 37 years in chiropractic practice, building a career on long-term, relationship-centred care. Chiropractic runs deep in her family - her grandfather studied in America in 1918, her father followed, and Margaret and her sister Wendy later graduated in Australia.
She began practising in New Plymouth, spent 23 years in Auckland alongside Dr David Backhouse, then returned home to Taranaki. Early on, Margaret became a pioneer of affordable, family-based long-term care in New Zealand - shaped by mentors including Reggie Gold and the late Les Whitehead, whose advice to "love your patients" has guided her ever since. Known for her thorough, unhurried approach and enduring patient relationships spanning decades, Margaret brings warmth, compassion and a firm belief in long-term care to everyone from newborns to patients in their eighties.
